Pregnant on ParaGard?

Has anyone gotten pregnant while having the ParaGard IUD? What were your experiences? Was the pregnancy viable?

I’ve previously been on hormonal BC but it wasn’t working for me so I stopped it. I had a baby in early July and a month later got the ParaGard. I normally have regular periods like clockwork and now spotting since getting ParaGard.

This month I haven’t had any spotting (barely any discharge) and my period is 8 days late. I’m having every symptom I had with my last pregnancy. Nausea, vomiting, extreme fatigue, hungry 24/7, abdominal pain. But I keep getting negative at home pregnancy tests. I also can’t locate my IUD strings.

I made a doctors appointment for tomorrow but my nerves won’t stop and wanted to know the likelihood that I could be pregnant and getting false negatives?
