How do you perceive time?

Linear with an infinite past would imply the universe has no beginning, it has always existed. Before the Big Bang, the matter and energy existed in another form and has always existed.

Linear with a finite past would imply before the Big Bang, nothing existed. All was created with the singularity and will continue to exist.

Cyclic would imply the universe has neither beginning or end. It has always existed in various states and the cycle of existence will continue, meaning perhaps billions of years from today another Big Bang will occur reshaping the universe.
