Breast tenderness

I have been a long time user of the pill. I have an alarm set and I take it within two minutes of the same time every night. Earlier this year, I noticed what felt like ovulation cramps so I started taking LH tests every day to see if I was somehow still ovulating on the pill. Turns out, I was. I didn’t get pregnant, and obviously the the pill does more than prevent ovulation to prevent pregnancy like thinning the endometrial lining and thickening cervical mucus, but I didn’t want to take chances. In May, I switched to a higher dose pill (30mcg up from 20). Everything went back to normal. I stopped ovulating. I got a normal period this month on Nov 9 and right now my breasts are so tender I can’t even wear a shirt. That’s never happened before and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Negative pregnancy and ovulation tests. It’s just a mystery to me but it’s clearly hormonal as I am extremely bloated, have light cramping and a lot of nausea as well.
