Can a two month old be “clingy”?

Might be a stupid question but are ALL two month olds like this?  My son is so clingy he won’t even let his dad or grandmas hold him.  He just screams.  If he’s with me he ALWAYS has a fist full of my shirt.  While he’s nursing if he can’t find my shirt he throws his hand around and cries till he finds a spot to hold onto and if I shift and he loses it, all hell breaks lose and I have to calm him down and guide his hand to a spot or let him cling my fingers (he doesn’t like them as much as my shirt) before he even starts to calm down again.

Yes. He needs you for survival. He is wholly dependent on you at this stage in life. They need to feel the person that’s keeping them alive is close to them.

Normal for all two month old babies but ESPECIALLY breast babies!!

Yep completely normal. My first was like that. She only wanted me until about 6 months and she started letting my husband put her down for bed and stuff. My second is clingy with me and my husband and won’t let anyone else hold her. She’s 5 months

Oh yeah, my bean was like this . I couldnt do anything without her with me. As she got older I would put her in my Moby wrap to be able to do stuff. She's 2 now and she's still my shadow lol .

My baby is now 2 and is still glued to my lap. If I go out of her line of sight she freaks out and panics.

Yup super normal and around 6-7 months they start another period where they have separation anxiety. We do a lot of contact napping

Yup, normal. Babies need there momma’s to survive. Mine is 4 months now and has gotten a little better. We still have days and that’s okay. But it gets better.
