Hysteroscopy Procedure???

Anyone had a hysteroscopy procedure done??? Thursday, December 10 will be my procedure, please pray for me???🙏🙏 I’m freaking out😥😣

I had mine I was sedated. It was not bad. I found it wasn’t painful but it was also clear so they found nothing.

Yea it’s just the camera looking around your ovaries and uterus. You’re under anesthesia so you don’t feel it. What are you concerned about

I had one done in my RE office, was not sedated at all. I may have taken ibuprofen beforehand but I honestly can’t remember. It was part of my pre IVF work up. It wasn’t bad at all, started like a Pap. A little crampy. It was a little awkward with the tools they use and they run saline through so it gets messy. But it was quick and I got to see the inside of my uterus which was neat. However I did not have any fibroids or cervix issues which may make it painful for some. Might have some cramping after. Good luck!:)

I’ve had 4.  2 awake and 2 asleep.  Asleep is easy, just a big hassle with anesthesia and all.  Awake is easy if it’s just exploratory, and may hurt if they have to do surgery, but it shouldn’t hurt too much afterwards.
