Is it going to get better?

My baby boy is almost 5 weeks. He has always been gassy. I have done countless things some days he is ok some days he just so fussy. Sometimes I feel helpless and start crying while he is crying. My husband tries to give me some help but my son is just so fussy no matter what we do. My first born was colicky gassy spit up so much but I can’t remember when he started to get better. Now he is a healthy 7yr old. Will it get better do all newborns have a bad gut and eventually get better ?

I had issues with my son as well. I put him on probiotic drops and also give him ovol when he’s fussy. His dad is celiac so I’ve also been cutting out wheat from my diet to see if he has a sensitivity. It’s helped a ton and he’s a different baby now!

Could it be the milk? My little brother was really gassy and the doctor changed him to Soy. It helped a lot

Same here. My son is 3.5 weeks and it’s so hard cuz he is so gassy, fussy, and hard to console. My 1st was nothing like this so it’s hard adjusting. I got some gripe water and baby probiotics so I am hoping they help. I just feel helpless

Yes it does get better, make sure baby burps if anything get colic drops they helped alot with my 1st. Massage his belly before he eats or at least 2x per day. Make sure you're getting sleep throughout the day too take it one day at a time
