Anyone else?

Question

Anybody else struggling with super painful hemorrhoids after giving birth? I am on day 5 and I seriously feel like I'm going to throw up all the time because I'm just in so much pain. I have the frozen pads, the ice packs, the cream, Prep H, Tucks pads.. I'm doing all of it all at once, all the time, but they aren't going down at all and I can't handle it. I can't leave my bed for more than 3 minutes. I don't know what to do.

It took about 1.5 weeks for things to return to a semblance of normal for me in that department. I did all the same things you’re doing. And don’t avoid going to the bathroom because of the pain. It makes it worse. Go as soon as you feel the need. Unfortunately you just have to suffer through that part 😖 Worst part of postpartum recovery in my opinion. And that’s with both my kids.

Yep it’s awful. Take stool softeners, use aquaphor when you go to the bathroom, prep H, and even then I got prescribed a topical ointment from my doctor. They continued to reoccur for like 4 months so that was amazing to have on hand
