How many weeks postpartum did you start using tampons or cups?

I’m 7 weeks 5 days postpartum and my first period started yesterday, was cleared at 6 weeks 2 days.
I got the size 2 Diva Cup and tried it yesterday when my period started. It hurt a lot and made it hard for me to pee so I took it out right away and switched to a tampon which was also uncomfortable.
Still haven’t had sex.
Anyone else struggling with cups and tampons?

I’ve always been told never use anything you put up you your first period pp only 2nd or 3rd

If you are cleared you can use them! 
If they are uncomfortable maybe wait another month!

I started with my second period after birth.

Probably my 3rd or 4th period postpartum I started using tampons again. It hurt before that.

I started with my second PP period using tampons at 4-5 months pp. it was a little uncomfortable at first but not bad. But waited the 6 weeks and went right back to having sex with the hubby.
