How many times a day for food?

How many times a day are you offering you LO purées or solids? I read somewhere that they should have food 3 times per day at this age and that makes me feel bad because we are severely slacking. Some days we don’t offer food and others we do. After the holidays we are going to become more consistent.

We do it once a day.  The pediatrician said we should be up to 3x a day by 9 months.

We were doing twice a day but the last few days he hasn’t wanted any at all because he’s teething so badly.

My ped said to aim for twice a day. We have been better with that in the last week. Today we did yogurt for breakfast, puffs for a snack, and purée at dinner. We started Yumi and that has helped keep us on track and expose her to a bunch of new flavors.

2-3 times! He’s 29 weeks. We do a mix of purées and finger food, and just let him decide how much he wants! It’s different every day

I’ve been trying to do twice. But at least once per day. We’re going to start finger foods today so we’ll see how that goes. Doctor says 3 times a day, but I’m not too worried. We’re getting there.

We still just do one time a day, I think when he starts actually ingesting more will will offer it 2 or 3 times a day. Right now he mostly just plays with the food and tastes things. 95% of what we give him ends up on him, me or the highchair. Remember, they say food before 1 is just for fun.
