My girlfriend wanted me to come out to my mum today that we are together . ( my mum is also very homophobic)  but she has woken up with a bad flu and is sick in bed and I told my mum I was going to come over later ( with my daughter ) and she told me not to come cause she’s sick and she would hate for us to get it .
Well I told my partner this and she said no make sure you go!!
So I’m kinda torn here on what to do??

I would drop the girlfriend to be honest 🤷🏼‍♀️ 1. She doesn’t respect you or your boundaries 2. Your mom clearly said she was sick and we are in the middle of a pandemic and she wants you to risk your daughter’s health for her?? No ma’am we put kids first a for most!

Why go see someone who is sick? Your plan to talk to her about your relationship is irrelevant. Shes sick - during covid 19 - you don't go.

She shouldn’t be forcing you to come out that’s something you need to do when YOURE ready. Also you shouldn’t be going over if she’s sick in general. Does your girlfriend not know about the global pandemic going on? I’d probably drop her though coming out needs to be on your own terms.

Update : I called my mum on speaker infront of her so she could hear how sick she was.  Mums been asleep all day , and my girlfriend still cracked it at me cause I can’t do it today :’) giving me the silent treatment
