Stimulus Checks

Hey everyone. I have questions about the stimulus checks from earlier this year (2020) and the one coming out nowish.

I had my baby in June 2020 and didn’t get anything additional for him on the first stimulus check while pregnant. I’m sure it’s because he wasn’t claimed in my 2019 taxes since he wasn’t born yet.

Now he is born and I’m wondering if we are supposed to get anything on this new round? Or will I see anything for for both times when I file my 2020 taxes? Or will he just not get anything?

If you had a baby in 2020, how will you know if you get anything?
