How far would you travel for your OBGYN/hospital

Kayley

Backstory: I had my first child in April 2020 and I had an amazing birth experience at the hospital and really liked my doctor. I had a c section but everything just went so smoothly. I also had gestational diabetes. At the time I lived 45 mins away from the hospital.

I moved to a new city so now the hospital/doctors office is about 1.5 hours away. We’re going to try to get pregnant this year (end of 2021) and I’m not sure if I should try to find a new doctor and new hospital closer OR use the one I had before? I’m just nervous with my past diabetes and everything I’ll have to get used to a new doctor and everything. Also I should add that my parents live 15 mins from the hospital so a plus would be they could meet us there to get our toddler. I’ll be opting for a scheduled c section but I know i could spontaneously got into labor.

I know I’m planning way ahead but I’m a planner 🤣🤣
