My daughter wants strangers to hold her

So I wrote a post this morning where I spoke about how my 18 month old daughter wanted nothing to do with me on New Year’s eve and was attached to one of my friends whom she never met before. All she wanted was for her to hold her. Now tonight we were out to dinner and she when she sees our waiter she crys for her to hold her every time she comes by. Like why? Does she hate me? Lol she has never done this before and has always been attached to me so I’m confused. She does have minor stranger danger at times, but I don’t know why she’s been like this for the past couple of days. Maybe something is bothering her? Anyone else’s lo’s like this?
