Depressing

So i live in Kentucky and my boyfriend has been driving trucks for 2-3 years. He’s bout to be 24 and I’m 21. We been together for almost 2 years and I’m a first time mom and he’s a first time dad. Since we been together he has a family in NC and he would go home there every month or so then drive to Kentucky to spend a week with me. Then after the week is up he has to get back on the road to work. I knew what I signed up for when we got together , but I never knew saying goodbye for him to drive back NC would be so hard... he doesn’t live with his family because he’s basically driving state to state all the time all over the map so he lives in his truck. Ladies who are / has dated a truck driver that had to be on the road for 1-3 months at a time. How did you all cope with it? I’m sad but my hormones make things worse. I feel heartbroken even though I know he’s coming back.
