Somebody suggested on my other post using food colouring and water in spray bottles to spray the snow with. I cant go out and get spray bottles right now because its a lockdown so we just painted with some foam brushes I had. They loved it!

Also I realized that I dont always need to set activities up for them to have fun. They just wanted to explore outside today and wander around the property checking things out and that was great lol. Kept them busy for a whole hour.

Edit to add: i was not trying to justify myself with the last paragraph. Nor do I think setting up activities isn't great. I think activities are great for them! I just meant I MYSELF as a mother always feel like I need to have something planned for them to have fun or learn, but it was great letting go and realizing that I dont always have to do that and can just let them explore and learn on their own :) (sorry I had to comment back to whoever commented this to me and then deleted their comment)
