I'm allergic to avocados... Will my baby be as well?

Starting to feed my baby solids and know avocado is a good go to but I'm wondering if bc I'm allergic to them, that means she most likely will be too?

Omg I’m allergic to avocado and I had the same question too! My pediatrician said we could try it for my son but to be extra careful in monitoring him after consuming it since I am allergic. I’m choosing to hold off on the avocado until my son can verbalize to me how he feels after eating something. There’s plenty of other yummy and nutritious foods. I don’t get a rash or hives or any normal allergic reaction symptoms that you can see or treat/monitor - I actually get like violently ill vomiting and insanely tired. I can’t eat ANYTHING with avocado in it, no guacamole or salsa or salads, burritos, tacos, etc.

I'm severely allergic to mangoes and I've avoided them just in case. I'm just nervous that my LO could be too because my mom is also allergic.
