Is there any reason you would object at someone’s wedding?

So first this question is aspired by a YouTube video I just watched. The video is called “karen objects at son's wedding” if you want to watch it. Sorry I would post the link but I know links don’t work on here but it should be the first video that pops up if you typed this in. I realize this is a extreme example and completely uncalled for by the MIL. Ngl the MIL was so wrong to do this and the whole thing felt so petty like there was no way the MIL was in the right here.

So would you ever object at someone’s wedding.. I know (or atleast I’ve never seen) in real life they don’t actually asks anymore if anyone has any objections. But let’s say someone was getting married and you absolutely knew they shouldn’t marry them. Would you ever consider disrupting their wedding ceremony to say this? Is there any extreme circumstance that you would?

Random side question for people who watched the video... the husband was dead silent during the whole altercation. This kinda bothered me that he didn’t stick up for his wife and defend her against his mom. Idk maybe he has horrible anxiety and was to embarrassed to say anything at the moment. But still I would be so disappointed if I was the wife that he didn’t stand up to his mom in that moment.
