Anyone received COVID vaccine yet?

I got the COVID vaccine today, and it was mandatory to wait 15 mins incase of reaction. All I’ve noticed is injection site is sore which is not unusual. The second dose is in 4 weeks I chose the moderna. Anyone else? Will you get the vaccine once available?

I’d rather stay home than get a vaccine that no one knows long term effects from. And yes, no one knows long term effects or covid either. So I’ll be staying home with my fam and doing what we can to try and stay healthy. ✌🏻

Absolutely but I am phase 2 so I will be last. I believe in the science behind the vaccine and feel vaccines have saved us from many other things in the past. There’s no reason to be our own worst enemy IMO. I will get it to protect myself and others. 100%. My dad got it and my 93 year one grandma too and both had 0 side effects.

I get my second does of moderna next week. I would take 10 if it meant my son having a semi normal life 💪🏼

My husband is a scientist and has read up on this vaccine (both Pfizer and moderna) and is confident that it’s safe so we’ll both be getting it once they get to our group. 
My friend is a midwife and just got her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. She only had a sore arm from the first dose, but after the second she felt pretty crappy for a day. She stayed home and took it easy and was fine 24 hours later.

I get my second Moderna dose on the 21🎉👏🏼
After my first dose I had an extremely sore arm, then 24 hours after I had headache, nausea and chills. I was fine the day after that! I’m taking 4 days off after my second dose just to be on the safe side. 
I’m a nurse and have antiphospholipid syndrome. I’m not as scared of the virus as I am the complications of it. Since I’m already at a high risk of blood clots, I’m choosing to get the vaccine so that I have a lesser chance of getting thick covid blood that makes you more prone to clots. Also getting it to protect my patients and loved ones! I was very skeptical about this vaccine when they started talked about it a year ago, but after much of my own independent research, I felt better about taking it. I keep telling people to do research from independent, unbiased, and RELIABLE sources to make an informed decision on whether it’s right for you or not! I’m just ready for this thing to go away!!

I’ve had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. I didn’t have any side effects other than a sore arm with the first dose. I did have a low grade fever after the second dose along with being extra tired, but after taking Tylenol and my fever breaking I felt fine. Symptoms lasted less than 12 hours overall. 
Also, I did my research before receiving the vaccine as did a lot of the docs I work with. They were very enthusiastic and confident in both of the vaccines and I trust their opinions. One of the physicians I work with is pregnant even and still received the vaccine.

My MIL opted for moderna also! She had her first about 2 weeks ago. Some soreness and she was tired. 
She’s a littke nervous about the second dose as her coworker felt awful and had injection site pain worse than a tetanus shot. I’ll update with her feedback!
