How much money do you need to be happy?
1 - enough to cover bills and food, basics like clothing, if you drive then basic car + gas, if you have children same logic (enough for everyone), some small emegency fund (for broken car, extra rent) by no means you can afford luxury, but basic holiday trips like a camp or a weekened road trip are not much of a problem; phones last you for 2-3 years (not the newest every time)
2 - more than that. A nicer car (like a new Mercedes), a nicer house (like a pool), nicer holidays (Europe, safari trips in Africa), nicer clothes (like no H&M or Forever21, but no regular Louis Vuitton either - maybe a bag or two); you get the newest iPhone every year
3 - more than that. The nicest cars (multiple new Mercedes, sports cars like Lamborgini or Ferarri), a giant mansion or multiple estates, the nicest clothes (only Louis Vuitton, Gucci), the nicest holidays (Maldives, Bora Bora, private jets, president suites), multiple newest iPhones (one to match every car or set of nails you feel like that day)
Obviously I am giving examples. Maybe you won't spend money on clothes even if you are a billionare you'll still wear H&M.
Just curious. I am #1 and I get so much hate from everyone I know. Like money doesn't make me happy and being able to pay rent on time, afford everything I need is as good as it can get for me (I come from #2 childhood).
What do you need in order to be happy?
I know people who will aim for that #3 and nothing is ever good enough for them.
No hate on anyone. You do you, it's also anonymous unless you want to comment 🤷🏻♀️
