Who changes the light bulbs?

Dumb question but I really don’t know. Been in an apartment for 2 years. We barely had some light bulbs go out. Do we have to replace these or the property management does? I don’t mind buying them my self but I just wanted to check first.

You could also call the front office. For most places you replace unless it’s out at move in.

Each apartment is different. I live in luxury apartments so they do stuff like that for us but I’ve also seen people have to do it themselves. If my husband & I didn’t live in ours together & he wasn’t a handyman, I’d have maintenance come by & do it but because my husband can easily do it, we change our own. Our apartment also has where we can tell them we need a new bulb & they’ll give us one & we can change it ourselves.

It depends. Each apartment is different and each place where the bulb is at. Ours just went out so I double checked with the landlord. She said we needed to replace it. Call your landlord to double check
