Is this normal breastfeeding behavior?
My baby is almost 5 weeks old and he is breastfed. By the end of the day several hours before bedtime he will not stop eating like until he has to spit it up because he ate too much and has a tummy ache. I try to calm him and make him wait a little bit so he has a chance to digest it but feeding him is the only thing that will calm him down and I just try to feed on demand but then he ends up eating too much. My boobs also feel really drained by the end of the day because he eats back to back to back when it’s later in the day so I don’t know if he has to feed so frequently at the end of the day because he’s just not getting enough or what’s going on but I’m wondering why my supply isn’t increasing at night because of the constant nursing before bed
