Don't want to buy a house with bf but

I've been with my bf 2 years but am not ready to buy a house with him yet and this is what he wants to do soon. I want to work abroad for a little bit when it becomes safe and travel (and i want to do this before buying a house!) He's never been crazy about my career plans and we have discussed me not wanting to consider a house yet (we're 23 btw) which he wasn't very happy aboit. and now I don't even feel like he things we have a future together. I don't want to lose him over this I love him and am afraid to be without him.
