What size of diapers lasted the longest?

Question

This is for a registry so i just picked sizes newborn to 2 bc im thinking of the first 6 or so  months with a normal sized baby. Obviously for now i cant know if she will be big or small 😩
No idea on how many to put on there because i dont want to end up with too many (small living space)...but i dont want to be running to the store either bc i have 0 of the size she needs.
I have a 40 pack each of 2 or 3 brands in sizes 1 & 2 right now (so like a bit over 100 diapers in each size)... Does it seem ok to start?

I wouldn’t over buy in case your LO ends up allergic or sensitive to certain diapers.  My son couldn’t wear anything but honest diapers.  Everything else gave him a rash.

I'd say 3-4. My kids were in that for the longest.

Size 3 and counting, currently at 1900. Baby went through 590 newborn diapers, 1150 size 1, 1090 size 2. 
My daughter was born 6 pounds 4 ounces and is about 18 pounds at 13.5 months

I don’t stock up because you never know what will work best for your baby. My first was a Pampers baby, they were perfect for him, so I bought Pampers for my second... he leaks and gets rash-y with everything except Huggies.

Honestly I only got two boxes of each. My baby is 4 mo and in size 3-4

Everybody told me not to get too many newborns bc I’d have a bunch left over but my babygirl was in newborns for two months. You can almost always take diapers back to Walmart and exchange them for a different size/brand

My daughter got to size 3 very quickly. Around 6 months I think. Then she was in them for a year and a half.
