When does it get better?

Question

I’m new to having two siblings. My oldest is 2.5yrs and newborn is 3 weeks old. 
IM BEYOND EXHAUSTED AND JUST DONE! 
Even tho I have help I’m curious... WHEN DOES IT GET BETTER? 1 month? 2? A year? 18years? Haha 
I’m hoping to hear your stories since I’m a bit desperate here. Thanks mommas!

My first was 2.5 when my second was born and boy do I feel you, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I was pretty f’n miserable. It started getting better when the baby was around 3 months old and gradually I started to feel like I had a routine again and was able to keep up with both of them.

The older they get it get better each year especially when there able to play with each other. Be easier when the newborn sleeping through the night next year when child is one it's better in alot of ways because the newborn wont be as dependent on you. Keep your head up mama takes some mama time when needed self care is important and I know hard.

Mine are 17 months apart. My oldest just turned 2 and my little is 7 months. I would say 6 months it got better bc my little is more independent. It is really rough some days still but overall it’s gotten better. Hang in there!

The challenges definitely change. I don't find anything gets better or easier. Breaking up fights, running interference and constantly trying to keep them occupied so I don't have to do the first two things all damn day is exhausting.

Mine are 18 months apart plus I have a just turned 5 year old 🤦‍♀️ It does get better with a good routine going ( there almost 5 months, almost 2 ,5 years old ) I’m tired all the time but we will sleep again soon lol

Mine are 24 months apart. My baby is 6 months. Some things are easier and some are much harder.

I have a 3 yr old and 2 month old and I felt a lot better between 6-8 weeks. I started to feel like I was getting into a new rhythm. That first month was so rough.

My babies have the same age gap. It gets better the older the baby gets to be honest. My daughter is 3 and my son is 5 months old and started sitting and laughing at fun stuff my daughter does so they‘re interacting more and more and building a bond which makes me feel less overwhelmed for paying both equal amount of attention. I am sure when he starts crawling and walking they’ll even play more together and I can get some small chores done while looking at after them.
