Has anyone done door dash or Instacart?

Is it worth it? I work full time currently but we need more money. I'm thinking about doing Instacart or door dash on my free days but I also don't want to spend the time away from my son if it isn't worth the money. Just wanting to hear experiences!

I work a full time job in the financial industry so I always have nights and weekends off. I signed up for doordash a few months back and love it! Night shifts and weekends are always busy so I make a decent extra 500-800 a week from doordashing

My bff does Uber eats. She goes from 7pm till about 3am and said she averages $15-20 an hour. It works great for her since the flex rates are in her favor, not alot of drivers out during those hours so her trip fairs are higher, she gets to have dinner with her husband, put her toddler to bed, then run delivery. She loves it and went to part time at her 9-5 so she could be home more during his active hours. She sleep from 3-7am and then naps for his naps as well. She has more time with her toddler and husband since he works a 9-5 she sees him before work and after and all day on his days off plus if she feels like it then she just skips a day or goes earlier in the day.

Doordash has been worth it for me. I also do it on the side. I make about $26 an hour. But ive also made $55 in an hour and a half. Or $140 for 4 1/2 hours. Id say its worth it. My boyfriend has instacart, and so does my friend, and they both have said there arent many orders and the pay isnt as much as you can make from doordash.

My mom is one but she has used it once the cost is more than just going and getting yourself or having someone you know alot of people who work for it try to stay away from using it for themselves because the cost is higher than it should add the tips you give out to
