Kiss me I’m Irish

So with St. Patty’s Day coming up I’ve decorated the house with green, gold, shamrocks, etc.

My husband and I just got into the dumbest fight ever that if I were to wear a shirt that said “kiss me I’m Irish” out of the house without I’m being disrespectful because I’m seeking attention from other men/women whatever.

Now I am a small part Irish and out of all the years I’ve ever worn anything that said that or any of the corny St. Patty’s shirts I’ve never actually had someone do what that shirt said and I tried to explain it, but because it goes against his feelings I’m in the wrong. Wtf?!

How would your SO react to that?
