Disowning my MIL.

Backstory, husband and I have been ttc for 3 years. In 2019, I had an extremely painful HSG test done. They were not able to get a thorough result because I was in so much pain, but the x-Ray technician said my left tube was open and the right was blocked. Last Wednesday I had laparoscopic surgery done to find out what’s wrong and to possibly remove my right tube since it could be affecting my fertility. Come to find out, both of my tubes are severely damaged and I need to see a specialist to have them removed. In between all of this, my sister is pregnant and has expressed to me that she wants us to adopt the baby. She is 30 weeks along. Anyways, my MIL knows we have been struggling with infertility and she even offered to donate her tubes if she could, after I told her that both of my tubes are blocked beyond any repair. Well, yesterday she comes over and I told her that we set a date for the adoption baby shower and this BITCH HAD THE AUDACITY to tell me, “Am I supposed to be excited?” I said, “Well, why wouldn’t you be?” Oh man, I’m getting pissed again just thinking about wtf came out of her mouth. She said, “Because that’s not my sons blood and it’s not my grandkid! I only have three grandkids. I’m not claiming a grandkid that has no relation to MY SON!”Y’all, I’m really regretting not slapping the bitch around. Who THE FUCK tells a woman who LITERALLY CANNOT have her son’s biological children something like that?? Like, I really do not care to ever see her face again. I’m not gonna deal with my kid being mistreated by family because it’s not blood!

She’s supposed to have back surgery soon and I was supposed to be taking care of her.. Well, I told my husband that she can find someone else to wipe her fucking ass because I’m not gonna take care of someone who isn’t my blood since that’s the game she wants to play.

I really wanna know.. wth is wrong with people!
