4th degree tear recovery

I got a 4th degree tear delivering my baby boy but no one really told me what to expect for recovery.

i’m 2 weeks post partum & some days are really good and i’m active but other days it hurts so bad to even sit down.

i also have a constant kind of stinging pain down there and itching ?

i made an appt to see my doctor cause i’m freaked out i could have an infection.

did anyone else experience this? what was your recovery like? how long did it take? help i’m not sure what to expect
