Period on the pill

I’ve just finished my first packet of the pill and ino when your on the pill your periods get regular mine use to come on the 19th or so , but now the day after I’ve first finished the packet I’ve been getting light color blood and I think it’s my period and my body getting use to having my period this early and now going to be more regular..... is it normal for your period blood to be light color at that start???
