Bedsharers of more than one

*if you’re against bed sharing, I don’t need your opinion, so please move on 😊

I bedshare with my 19 month old. I’m due with another in September so it’ll be right after my son’s second birthday. I have no intention of kicking him out of my bed at this stage but I’m concerned about the logistics of sharing a bed with both a newborn and a toddler. Currently, we still follow safe sleep 7 😂 (very paranoid mama!) and I sleep between my SO (who sleeps hard) and our LO.

Would it be better to move our toddler between the two of us and put baby where our toddler is instead?

Or get a bassinet for in the bed for the new baby to go between us?

My only concern with that is that I worry that constantly flipping around and taking baby out of the bassinet to nurse will wake our son with me shifting around vs if he were in the middle of us I could feed baby in bed while barely even moving

I’m sure I’m overthinking this, but what worked for you if you bed shared with multiple kiddos?
