does your partner care if you like his family?

is it normal for my fiancé to not care that i don’t like his family? or to not care that i don’t want his last name or to be part of that family?

Is the reason you don’t want his last name just because you don’t like his family? That seems extremely dramatic. If you just want to keep your maiden name, thats one thing. This is another. 
 
Depending on his relationship with his family, I’d think long and hard before committing to marriage. I promise it will be a bigger problem down the road.

If you marry him you are legally apart of the family. Taking his name is also something to think about for the future..... I’m sure he will want his kids to have his name so are you okay with that? At the end of the day you are with HIM, you are still choosing to marry HIM, so not taking his name solely because of his family sounds a bit silly. Just how I feel. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Every person is different. I tolerate my fiances parents but love the rest of his family. I dont have much family so if he didnt like mine it wouldn't be the end of the world to me. 
Some people are aware they have toxic/unpleasant family members and others may just not be close with their family foe different reasons. Some people just might not care 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ 
I dont think its abnormal or weird but maybe you could ask them?

His family like aunts and cousins do not like me at all. And I love it!!!!!! My family likes him because he’s sweet but if they didn’t I wouldn’t care. I would chew their asses out if they disrespected him though.
