blood/spotting after sex?

okay so randomly, i bleed a little bit during/after sex & idk why. i’m not on my period & i’m supposed to be on it till the end of this month. the bleeding happens just randomly, but i feel like it’s just happened way too often & idk why it happens. & whenever it does happen, i end up spotting blood the rest of the night which just adds to the annoying-ness. my bf & i are thinking it’s either my birth control or bc we’re doing it too rough but i honestly have no idea. if anyone knows anything abt this pls let me know bc it’s really bothering me :(
