Is 5 years old too young for a “big girl room”?

Our daughter turned 5 in December and has been wanting to redo her room a little. Right now she has a twin bed, a nightstand, and the rest of the room is full of toys (kitchen, dollhouse, train table, etc) and her closet has all of her clothes.

I’m thinking of upgrading her room to a “big girl room”, with a different bed (another twin or a full), a dresser, maybe a cute chair in the corner.

Only problem is, doing this we would have to get rid of a lot of her big toys. She doesn’t really play with most of them besides the kitchen anyway.

Is this too soon? Or should I wait until she’s older?
