Parents... I'm sorry... I understand now...

I'm not a parent and I've always had some judgments towards parents, like how are they always late? Why is their house always a mess? Whats to be tired about? Just put the kid to sleep. Their a toddler not a baby

I had a lot of these judgments towards my sister and my boyfriend. He has a son that will be 3 in August.

So his babysitter canceled on him and he had to go out of turn super early Monday morning so I agreed to babysit. I've hung out with his son plenty of times so babysitting should be easy. I get there early. His son gets up I make him breakfast. First thing is I have to do is take him to preschool. I get him dressed and pack his bag. When I go to get him in the car.... He has taken all his clothes off. I'm like "Why did you take your clothes off?" So I put them back on but this time he was kicking. And then he has to potty so I have to put him on his potty. Then he needs to find his truck. We were 15 minutes late for preschool.... while he's at preschool I decide to tidy up my boyfriend's house. I pick him up and I'm trying to make myself something to eat and he's making a huge mess with his toys and then had a tantrum over something. I haven't even eaten my food yet. I finally just stuck him in front of the TV so I could eat! At dinner he was rowdy and made a mess. Bath time was hell getting him IN the tub and then he didn't want to get OUT. Bedtime.... UGH! He kept wanting me to read story after story. Every time I put him in bed he got up and wanted to play. It took FOREVER to get him to sleep. When he was finally asleep. I noticed the house I cleaned for my boyfriend.... Was a mess. He got home exhausted. I ended up spending the night. Parents I am so sorry. What you do is HARD! I even called my sister to apologize. You guys need a metal.
