How many minutes do u breast feed?

I have a 4 month old.... how long do you breast feed and so u use both breast or one per feed

As long as baby needed. I never limited it but I also didn’t keep track of time very well

I always followed my son’s cues by that age.  He was an efficient nurser so he was usually 5 minutes tops.  I rarely did the second breast but would if he acted hungry after the first

My son is 7.5mon. He almost always nurses both sides and he usually eats for 10-20min total between the two sides. He nurses every 2.5-4hr during the day plus solids twice a day.

My son doesn’t breastfeed for long. He eats for about 5-7 minutes usually on one side. I’d say about 60% of the time he only eats from one side and the other 40% he eats from both. He’s gaining weight and has wet diapers all day! He will be 5 months tomorrow!
