do i have a fever?

this morning I went to get my COVID vaccine and the lady took my temp with temp gun that checks the surface temp of your forehead. it was 99.4 and she made me go sit outside for a bit to try and cool down... it was super weird to me because I have no other symptoms and don’t feel hot or anything. she came again later and let me back in cause it went down to 99 and she gave me my vaccine. I had just come from a hot car (my boyfriend likes the heat on full blast) and I was also nervous. she told me not to worry about it and that I didn’t need to test if I have no other symptoms. I can’t help but to worry about it anyway. I took my temperature twice when I got back with oral temp and it was normal body temperature both times.... should I be worried still? the oral temp says I have no fever :/
