Toddler tiptoeing... Anyone else?!

For the last few weeks I've noticed my son tiptoeing when walking. It's not all the time and usually he starts walking normally, tiptoes for a bit and then goes back to walking normally and so forth. Of course, Google has all of the worse case scenarios listed. I know it's not a concern on its own, so does anyone know if there's anything else I should be looking out for? I do think that he's doing it for fun more than anything but he hasn't done it before this point so I'm not sure. I don't want to be nonchalant and miss something significant or it would be nice to know other LOs are doing to same thing.
