Having a baby when you have kids in school?

Question

Have a baby when your oldest is in preschool or in kindergarten?
Or should we try and swing the newborn stage into the summer by some miracle if I can get pregnant by request 😂🤣
My first two were 18 months apart a happy surprise iud slipped out of place. So for our final baby we for the first time ever get to plan and I don’t know what to do. 😳 I’ve never planned a baby before

I think the best thing to do is just not plan.. it never works haha.. but thats just my experience.

I didn't plan on when to have a baby, just on when we were gonna try. That said the months I actually got pregnant (pregnant with #2 currently) were the months that we decided to skip trying for the month and see what happens as we were super busy.

My oldest is in HIGH SCHOOL, he’ll be a sophomore when this one is born in December! My youngest will be starting middle school. We didn’t plan on ttc for 7 years but here we are. Personally having the new baby when the others are in school gives you the breaks you’ll need and time where you can give individual attention to the new baby. I’m personally thrilled that I’ll be on maternity leave during the holidays!

i say have them close in age, my oldest will be ending first grade when my second is born, it’s a 7 year age difference.. bigggg regret but unfortunately we couldn’t get pregnant sooner. i grew up with the closest sibling in age was 6 years older than me and it was hard to bond with her.. my husband, same thing, he said it was harder to get along with his older sister (6 years apart) than it was with his other sister (11 months apart)
i will say though, it is nice that my son understands what’s going on and that there’ll be another baby soon
