Catholic Baptism?

So, my little girl is 2.5 months old and we're planning on taking our baptism class-getting her baptized soon.
Here's my question... Will it matter that my husband is not catholic and that we weren't married in the church? We opted for a courthouse wedding. Just genuinely worried about it!

Call your parish. Get some guidance as to their rules. 
Where we live, it doesn’t matter. I married into an orthodox family. I am not orthodox, but we opted to baptize our girl into the orthodox faith. As long as we made that agreement for her and she had an orthodox sponsor, then we were fine. 
It was a beautiful ceremony, even if I didn’t understand half of it 🤣 I’m Methodist, so it’s all Greek to me!

We are both lapsed catholics and our son is 3 months old. Husband is not a fan baptism... I don't really care but may still do it... we had a civil ceremony... so still not sure... but it depends on your parish. I am not joining a parish so they feel entitled to tithes. Nah

Depends on the church I believe..my husband is Catholic and the church he grew up in would not have. I am an atheist and not baptized myself and had we wanted to get married/baptize a child/etc there we would have been told no unless I get baptized there and join their faith. He hated that church and left years and years ago and his new church is was more lax. We aren't getting our kids baptized but had we wanted to we would have been able.

Around here as long as at least one parent and one godparent are Catholic, that’s all they care. You don’t have to be married at all.

No. My partner and I aren’t even married. Both our girls were baptized in the Catholic Church. I was confirmed at my last daughter’s baptism, so I wasn’t even Catholic for the first one.
They may talk to you about getting your marriage blessed by the church, and they may try to get your husband to convert.

It actually might. There are Catholic Churches that won’t marry a couple unless both spouses have received all the sacraments, some only care about baptism. I’d call. Also, they might only let baptized Catholics be godparents, but not sure if that’s an issue for you.

I think you'll need to call your parish and ask their guidance. Technically speaking, you're not "in good standing with the church," which I know affects who can be a godparent but idk about birth parents seeking to have their child baptized. I suspect it might be the same but some diosceses/churches are more strict that others.
