Crying it out on his stomach?

I let my 6 month old cry it out. Please no shaming. If it’s longer than 10 minutes I go in there. But I’m a single working mom and I comfort him for two hours straight of rocking and putting him down and he still wakes up the second I put him down. Yes he is very tired... I can tell. Rubbing eyes all of that.. I put him down as soon as I see signs of tiredness. I’ve tried waiting. I’ve tried it all. And he sleeps on me but won’t off me. I cannot do it any longer. However when he cries he goes on his stomach and I think it’s hard for him to sleep like that... is it okay if I leave him on his stomach ? I can’t keep going in there and waking him up more to lay him on his back. Yess no swaddles! Sleep sack. Sometimes just his pjs bc my house can get warm. He can roll both ways, but hasn’t in his crib?
