Before I make a run to the childrens

My son just turned 13 months old, had his appointment, he’s growing perfectly and he’s very healthy.

He had a cold about a month ago and developed a high fever that took a day to subside. That was the only time he was ever sick. I know it was a cold because I had to get tested twice for COVID since I had the symptoms too and he had caught it from me.

Yesterday afternoon he developed a low grade fever (38C) I think that’s 100 F?? But he doesn’t any other symptoms?

He just started getting his molars in but my mom said they don’t get fevers from teething that they get warm but not an actual fever.

Is it normal to just have a fever and it go away? Like should I have him seen in the emergency room just in case? I’m a first time mom! Please help!💜
