When did you first take your kiddo to the dentist?

My son is 13 mo and he has quite a few teeth, I think he’s at 8 now and more coming. I’m curious when you all made your first dentist appointments?

3 years when all the dentists on my insurance plan started seeing kids. Our pediatrician is certified to provide fluoride treatments so they did that at every well visit until we saw the dentist.

The dentists in network back when my daughter was little didn't see kids until 3 so thats when we took her first. She's never had a cavity and doesn't mind going to the dentist. She's almost 10.

Dentists recommend coming when they turn 1, and then once or twice a year to get them comfortable with the idea of the dentist office/dentist and having their teeth checked up.
