Pregnancy Kicks but not pregnant?

I felt some kicks above my belly button a few days ago, I googled it and read it could be phantom kicks. It went on for a good 5-10 minutes. But tonight I was sitting down watching tv and i felt big kicks again in another part of my stomach (the side and upper north west side) and i could literally see my stomach bulging out. I’m on birth control and have been for over a year so I assume this is intense phantom kicks. But should I see a doctor? It’s to the point my bf can put his hand on my stomach and feel them. I’ve never experience this before. I have 3 kids, but my last child was born 2 years ago
