So I did the right thing and called my manager

So an update to my last few posts about calling in to go to the doctor.. I called my nurse manager and she told me as long as I didnt have a fever its fine.

I told her my cough had gotten worse (which it did) and I told her it got to the point where my chest would hurt and she said it was fine and was probably due to allergies or bronchitis.

This job does not care about your health at all. I cant call in to be checked just to make sure im genuinely not sick but the other aide can call in 4 times in 2 months.

If I end up being sick one day and she still has me come in even though I dont have a fever and a patient gets sick she cant blame me because I called her and let her know and asked her what I should do 🙄
