Delivery options

Hello,

I’m currently 29 weeks going on 30 weeks. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes a couple weeks back. Recently my doctor has been asking me about a birth plan. I previously had a c section with my first due to him being over 10 lbs. My doctor has really been scaring me with what delivery might be like this time around. I want to highly try for a vaginal this time around but it will all be determine if my placenta is not attached to excess skin around my previous c section. It also depends on how big the baby may be. Any ways a sis is super paranoid and scared. They do not recommend I pass 39 weeks. Has anyone here had a previous c section in the past and then had a successful vaginal birth? I honestly do not know what to do.

If I have another csection, it will decrease my chance of having more kids in the future. I still want atleast four kids.
