Went into labor hours before my induction and was 8 cm when I got to the hospital

They weren’t kidding when they say your second labor goes faster . I was 41 weeks with my second pregnancy and me and my fiancé had just said goodnight to eachother after making sure we were ready for the next morning .. my long awaited induction and arrival of our baby girl. As I closed my eyes my water broke . Within 30 mins I was having contractions 3 mins apart. Luckily we were already prepared to leave in the morning, we left for the hospital and about 25 mins later when we arrived, they checked me apon arrival and I was 8 cm dilated ! I requested a epidural, I was given it at 9 cm one hour later ... it didn’t work . I was in so much pain.. I was denied other pain medications because I was so close to being fully dilated ... I had a long painful transition period .6 hours after my water broke, 20 mins of pushing, our precious baby girl was born . Mylah Grace. Born on 5/7/21 . 9 lbs & 5 oz. 20 inches long . We are so blessed & we love her so much .
