Am I just insecure or should I be concerned?

So, my parents are gone for the week which means my bf gets to stay over! Last night we hung out with my sister and it was great! But literally every other second he kept mentioning her and kept repeating “you know you can tell her to come up” or “don’t forget you can invite your sister” like why are you so concerned with her? 
I love my sister and we’re extremely close and I have nooo issue with her but every time she’s around, I’m non existent to my bf. Plus they seem to have more in common and vibe well together but I’d rather him just leave me rather then me having to feel this way.

When he is hanging out with you his only concern should be you and not your sister. I would tell him that it’s creepy that he is overly concerned on inviting your sister to hang out with you both, his main priority should be you, but it seems like his is your sister.

I think it just depends on the context. Like are y’all hanging out having one on one couples time? Or are you like sitting in the kitchen getting dinner or doing something more open ended in the middle of the day? 
Personally, If my bf and I were at home and my sister was there too and were hanging out in one of the common spaces, i wouldn’t think any differently of it. It’s polite to include people if youre in an open space. 
If we were like sitting in bed watching a movie before bed, or doing something more couple oriented and just the two of us I would be annoyed.

I would address and be firm tell him you are not happy about it and stop inviting him over and tell him he needs to stop as it makes you uncomfortable and he needs to be more respectful

My ex boyfriend use to do this around one of my older sisters too and when we broke up he told me a lot of sexual things he thought about her I get why your concerned forsure because I would be too just try not to worry about it unless he’s getting flirty
