Toddlers Meltdowns

Our almost 2 year old meltdowns get my husband angry and he acts like a toddler himself. Today, he was playing his video games while our child was playing beside him. I was cleaning, I hear small whining to which my husband didn't respond to. Eventually it turned in a tantrum, so he yells at her to stop crying, stomps his feet and takes her in her room. His anger worsened when she accidentally broke a glass a little later, while I was cleaning it up she didn't want to stay with him so she started another tantrum. I was upset with him, because he could've diffused the situation like he would at times. So I took her and asked what the issue is, whether he's pissed that she ruined his game. Then he was so overwhelmed he said he can't eat dinner and sleeping on the couch. I really don't get it sometimes, I'm afraid the tantrums he throws will copy our toddler. And though I've told him this, he can't seem to control himself
