I don’t know what to do with my husband

I know some don’t share the same views and that’s okay but advice can still be given.

My husband and I are new Christians. We started going to our current church 3 years ago. We went to another one before it and we left it because my husband didn’t think they followed the Bible. It was a mutual agreement between us to find a new one. When we found this one my husband was so happy and we got heavily involved in it. I feel like many of my friends are my family and I’m extremely happy where we are. I feel at home.

Lately my husband has been disagreeing with our Pastor’s sermons. He’s becoming very proud and talking down about other people and their want to know their Bible. We’re a very young church (less than 5 years old and only about 70 members) so everyone is a younger Christian except for a few people. But my husband is expecting everyone to be well versed and if they’re not then they’re not trying hard enough.

After church today my husband told me that he found himself sick to his stomach with how our Pastor was teaching. That he’s gonna have to sit down with him and have a big talk about it. He said that if the talk doesn’t change his way of thinking that we’re going to leave the church and find a better one.

This has me so sad. Downright sad. I LOVE our church. I love everyone there. They’re my family. Thinking about leaving just makes me want to cry because I’ll miss them all so much. They’ve done so much for us and they’re my close friends.

I just don’t know what to do. Even if you don’t agree please be kind with your advice.

Edit to add: our Pastor even said at the end of today’s sermon that people didn’t need to agree with him. If they had something to correct him on to please do so and that he welcomes it. My husband says that it’s his duty to tell our Pastor that what he’s teaching is heresy. The sermon was that they’re are 2 raptures and my husband says there’s 3 and our pastor is being sinful.
