So for those who follow sports or have seen it on the news what is the general opinion. She is able to do a skill no other female...and not many men...can land and the reasons for not rewarding her by a higher start value is it could be dangerous if others try and to keep it so she doesn't run away from the pack. Which as someone who played elite sports from about age 6 through college I find both absurd and very much disagree and think she should be rewarded for it. But then there are also the people bringing up that when athletes like michael phelps or katie ledecky are so far above the competition that everyone was competing for 2nd basically like biles is now that they were praised and touted as amazing athletic specimens and rewarded. The big difference is skin color so people are asking how much race has a play here since gymnastics isn't the most diverse sport and only recently did we start to see more poc competing. So what is people opinions...is the low score good you think or unfair? Does her race or the face she is a female have anything to do with it? I have my opinions just seeing what other people think.
